Don't be put off by the fact that this workshop takes place in a cemetery! The beautiful and tranquil Jesmond Old Cemetery in Newcastle upon Tyne is a perfect location for developing your 'hidden landscape' skills and the images above are typical examples of what is possible. Due to the popularity of the location, Neil and David are leading a number of workshops in the cemetery, with small group numbers to ensure ample personal tuition. A camera which is not completely automatic would be ideal and you may shoot either digitally or with film. A tripod would be useful so if you don't own one, try to borrow one for the day of the workshop. If in doubt, give us a ring or drop us an email.
The evening session which takes place a few days before the actual workshop, is held in either a local community centre or a private room in a pub. This gives everyone a chance to meet in a warm and friendly atmosphere, look at some interesting work and discuss anything concerned with photography.
